COACHES

Coach Ianni has spent much of her life in the East Lansing area, and attended Okemos High School. At Okemos, she was a two-time second team all state selection, and finished third in Miss Volleyball voting her senior year. A 2003 graduate of OHS, she attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California to play volleyball, and was selected to the 2005 All-Big West Team (Honorable Mention). Shortly after that 2005 season, Coach Ianni transferred to Michigan State and set her senior year with the green and white in 2006. Graduating from Michigan State in the summer of 2008, Coach Ianni completed her internship year at Williamston Middle School, teaching 8^th grade Social Studies, and is currently a 6^th and 7^th grade Math Lab teacher at the middle school.   

Katy Maiolatesi has coached Junior Varsity volleyball for the past four seasons at Williamston High School.  In 2009. the J.V. team clenched a league championship, which was the first time in several years.  Katy played volleyball for Troy High School in Troy, Michigan.  Katy also teaches Spanish at Williamston Middle School.

Julie Barrett has been a Williamston resident for 21 years. She has three children, two of which have graduated from Williamston and one that will be a junior this year. She played volleyball at Fenton High School for 4 years with All-State honors. She continues to play indoor and sand volleyball and still enjoy the game today. Julie is also a water aerobics instructor at the WHS pool.
